  • Do you provide life vests?

    Life vests are not provided. Please exercise all the regular water safety precautions, including wearing of life jackets. As always on the water, paddle and participate at your own risk.

  • Where do I park?

    Park in the first Black Miner’s Bar parking lot, then walk with your paddle board/kayak down to the boat launch area. Remember $10 for parking. Parking is free with the State Parks Poppy Pass.

  • Is there a minimum donation amount?

    There is not. But we do hope that every participant will make a donation toward the cause.

  • Can I make a donation in-person at the event?

    Yes! Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance will be on site and able to collect donations during the event.

  • How should I dress?

    You can come in regular clothes, but most will be dressed witch/wizard themed. Others have also come in various sorts of halloween type attire.

  • How will the trick or treating work?

    For children who are registered to trick or treat, there will be several “stations” on the water, noted by a person on a board with a yellow smiley face balloon. You may paddle up to those people to trick or treat. Bags will be provided. All treats will be store bought, individually sealed, and peanut free.
